Jenna Petrucci led a balanced attack as the Lady Wildcats posted the win at Mohawk’s Lady Warrior Shootout.
Shenango (2-0) went up 13-9 after the first and posted a 24-17 halftime edge. The Lady Wildcats continued to pull away in the second half for the win.
“We are getting off to a good start, which is good for the team,” Shenango coach Brian Turk said. “We’ve been pretty balanced with the eight kids playing now. We’re very pleased so far. There’s a long way to go. We’ll continue to plug away.”
