Beaver Falls built a 21-5 lead and cruised past Laurel in Section 2-AA action.

The Lady Tigers (7-1, 12-5) increased the buffer to 35-15 at the break.

“It seemed like Beaver Falls hit everything they put up,” Lady Spartans coach Jessica Shevitz said. “They didn’t force us to do anything we didn’t want to do.

“Offensively, we’re just kind of in a slump right now; it was tough getting down like that and we were never really in it. But the girls never quit.”

Marisa Wallas led Laurel (3-6, 5-12) with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Aislinn Deinert chipped in with 10 markers.

Ayana Vaughn netted a game-high 16 points for Beaver Falls.
