Union struggled in the second half and it proved costly in a Section 1-A loss to Rochester.

The Lady Scots trailed just 30-24 at the half.

“They really pressured us pretty hard in the second half,” Union coach Brian Fadden said. “We struggled at times with their ball pressure and we had a lot of turnovers in the second half.”

Savannah Partridge netted a team-high 20 points for the Lady Scots (1-7, 3-13). Miranda Heaney chipped in with nine.

Hayden Kimbrough registered 20 points for the Lady Rams (6-2, 11-5), who are ranked No. 5 in the WPIAL in Class A by the Post-Gazette.
