Lauren Pruchnic led a balanced Shenango attack in a win over Freedom in the Riverside Tournament.
The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the Lady Wildcats.
Pruchnic paced Shenango (2-6) with 16 points, while Briana Ferrucci chipped in with 15. Amanda Herb was next with 14.
“We got our shooting on track and we got some good opportunities in the paint,” Lady Wildcats coach Brian Turk said. “I thought the girls stepped up tonight and they’re playing much better.
“I liked the balance we got, too.”
Kristi Tibolet recorded 11 points for the Lady Bulldogs (2-5).
