Neshannock trailed 25-12 at the half, could not catch up and lost a first-round game in the Burrell Tipoff Tournament.

“It was a pretty good game,” Lady Lancers coach Greg Huston said. “Turnovers hurt us down the line, but the girls played tough. I wasn’t upset with their play because they battled.”

Kylee Patton led Neshannock with 20 points, while Courtney Frengel followed with eight markers.

Neshannock will play Valley in the consolation game today. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
