Samantha Carr tallied 31 points to lead the Lady Warriors to the win at their own tipoff tournament.
The Lady Greyhounds (1-1) had a 17-8 lead after the first quarter. However, Mohawk (2-0) trimmed the deficit to 25-23 at halftime. The Lady Warriors went ahead, 42-36, in the third and held on for the win.
Tessa Sikora led Wilmington with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Cassidy Marett had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Drake had seven points and 10 rebounds. Holly Duncan pulled down 12 rebounds.
Aliya Gage added nine points for Mohawk. Jaki Bender and Melissa Verlotte both had five points.
