Ryan Foht’s free throws preserved the lead in Wilmington’s District 10, Region 2-AA win.

As Conneaut Lake cut the deficit to five points, Foht went 4 of 4 at the line in the closing minute.

“He really stepped up as a leader,” Wilmington coach Will Harris said. “If he didn’t go 4 for 4 from the line, we would have been in trouble.”

Foht scored 16 points and added 12 rebounds for the ’Hounds (2-0, 3-2).

“It really sealed the game,” Harris said. “He stepped up with the pressure on.”

Shane Wagner led all scorers with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Chris Burns followed with 13. Dallas Hartman had 10 rebounds to go with his five points.

Cameron Keon led the Indians (0-4, 2-6) with 12 points.
