The Warriors survived a fourth-quarter surge by Rochester.
Leading 50-30 after three quarters, Mohawk was outscored 18-6 in the final period before getting the Section 2-AA win.
“We have to do a better job finishing teams in the fourth quarter,” Warriors coach Kevin Wrona said. “They started getting hot, making shots.”
Chase Frederick had 19 points for Mohawk (3-0, 5-1). Matt Lorello followed with 11.
“Chase did some good things tonight,” Wrona said. “It was probably his best offensive performance of the year.”
E.J. Blackwell led the Rams (0-4, 0-5) with 15 points.
