Sharpsville stops Shenango
Sharpsville (56) Vs. Shenango (36)
Dec 23, 2010
Sharpsville put Shenango away early in the nonsection matchup.

The Blue Devils (2-1), who are coached by former Neshannock head coach Jim Smiley, led 28-16 at the half, thanks to 16 points by Chad Piccirilli.

Poor shooting hurt the Wildcats (3-3), who made just one 3-pointer in the game and had only one player score in double figures.

“We were 1 for 16 on 3s, and 14 for 46 from the field,” Shenango coach Bob McQuiston said. “After a tough loss, you want to rebound right away, but we just didn’t look like we had it tonight.”

Jeff Williams led the Wildcats with 13 points.
