Michele Nocera had a team-high 17 points as the Lady Wolverines (1-1) fell in the championship game of the South Side Beaver Tournament.
The Lady Lions had a 24-15 halftime lead and Ellwood City was unable to rally in the second half.
Asia Borders added eight points for the Lady Wolverines. Nocera, who was named to the all-tournament team, added 12 rebounds.
