The host Mohawk Lady Warriors got double-digit efforts from Samantha Carr, Melissa Verlotte and Aliya Gage in a 61-12 Section 2-AA win over New Brighton.
Verlotte drilled three 3-pointers to lead Mohawk (4-1, 10-1) with 15 points, Gage was next with 12. Carr finished with 11.
Mohawk broke open a two-basket game in the second quarter to take a 29-10 lead into the break. The Lady Warriors limited New Brighton (0-5, 1-10) to just five field goals and two points in the second half.
