Wilmington boys top Union
Wilmington (53) Vs. Union (43)
Dec 30, 2010
Daryl Pace sparked Wilmington in a crucial fourth-quarter run that lifted the Greyhounds to a consolation win over Union in the Union Booster Tournament.

Pace scored eight of his game-high 21 points in the fourth and was 5 of 5 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed a team-best 12 rebounds. His ability to make free throws late in the game was huge for Wilmington (3-3).

The Greyhounds and Scotties were tied at 36 entering the fourth, but Union couldn’t keep up in the final stanza. Anthony Derrick provided a team-high five assists and six points. Markel Peace and John DeCesare led the Scotties (0-8) with eight markers apiece.

The Scotties’ Tre Major along with the Greyhounds’ Pace earned all-tournament status.
