Defensive pressure went a long way to lifting the Lady Lancers over Karns City in nonsection play.
Neshannock forced 28 turnovers to improve to 2-1 overall.
“We got out and ran,” Lady Lancers coach Luann Grybowski said. “I was pleased with the effort.”
Chelsea Kaufman, Caitlin Binder and Ashley Patton combined for 16 steals for Neshannock. Kaufman also contributed 10 points and five assists.
