The Lady 'Canes struggled in the second half in dropping a 57-38 decision to Indiana in the Indiana Christmas Tournament.
New Castle (2-6) was outscored 31-19 in the second half.
"We're learning every game," said first-year Lady 'Canes coach Maria Joseph. "We played hard; we were right there in the first half."
Kayla Harvey netted 17 points for New Castle.
