Union too much for Quigley Catholic
Union (67) Vs. Quigley (53)
Jan 24, 2015
Garrison Bell tickled the twine for 20 points and crashed the glass for 11 rebounds in the Scotties’ 67-53 Section 1-A road win.

The Scotties (6-3, 9-8) are closing in on a playoff berth. Quigley fell to 1-8, 3-14.

Union trailed 17-12 after one quarter as Jake Schwab hit three of his four 3-pointers.

“We knew Schwab was a threat, he had seven against Western Beaver the other night,” Scotties coach Mark Stanley said. “But we got into our press and started making shots. When we went up by 20 in the third quarter, we let the younger kids play.”

Cornell Charles added 15 points and seven steals for the winners.
