A big third quarter doomed the Wolverines in their Section 2-AAA loss to visiting Beaver.
The Bobcats (3-2, 7-4) used a 31-13 third quarter advantage to put Ellwood City Lincoln away after only leading by two points out of the halftime.
Rick Roth was the only Ellwood City player to hit double-digit points, leading the Wolverines (1-4, 4-8) with 10. Beaver countered with four double-digit scorers, led by Darius Wise’s 19 points.
