The New Castle Lady ’Canes were held to seven first-half points in their 50-30 nonsection loss to the host Indianaa Lady Little Indians.
Indiana (7-1) jumped out to a 29-7 lead at the half and only increased the advantage out of the break, outscoring New Castle 19-9 in the third quarter.
The Lady Little Indians featured two double-digit scorers in Jessica Stever (16 points) and Abby Myers (10).
New Castle (0-6) was led by Jamay Walker and her 12 points.
