Kara Kendall and Janelle Fauzey combined for 41 points in an easy win over Commodore Perry in a District 10 Region 1-AA contest.

Fauzey had 22 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists for the Lady Greyhounds (2-2, 2-4). Kendall added 19 points and snared 14 rebounds.

“Kara was a monster on the boards,” Wilmington coach Brian Turk said.

Leah Day contributed eight points and seven rebounds for the victors.

The Lady Greyhounds shook off two straight losses with the impressive effort.

“I thought our team came back fighting hard,” Turk said. “We had a great practice on Friday and Saturday.

“They came out and shot really well.”
