Northwestern 44, Laurel 43
Laurel (43) Vs. Northwestern (44)
Dec 01, 2007
Despite owning a 31-26 lead after the third quarter, the Spartans were outscored 18-12 in the fourth quarter and lost in the consolation game of the Cambridge Springs Tournament.

“It was one of those games, similar to Friday night, where we were winning with two or three minutes left and our inexperience and foul shooting hurt us,” Laurel coach Mike Tinstman said.

Laurel was 7 of 17 from the free-throw line.

“We’re playing well and working hard, but we’re still making the mistakes because of our inexperience,” Tinstman said.

Jake Dando paced the Spartans (0-2) with 13 points, while Adam Gibson followed with eight markers and six rebounds. Tyler Forbes also scored eight points.
