Miranda Black scored 12 points but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Wildcats fell in nonsection play against Cornell.
“Little growing pains,” Shenango coach Chris Vecenie said. “They’re working their way around still learning.
“All in all, I still think we’re moving in the right direction and back on the winning track.”
Carly Senko followed with 11 points and Jessica Kusnierz chipped in with four assists and four points for Shenango (3-3).
Cornell’s Nikki Goode led all scorers with 18 markers.
