Jacqui Baker tossed in 19 points for the Lady Wildcats in a 52-31 home loss to Section 1-2A foe Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.

Shenango (6-8, 8-14) came into the contest in a tie for the last playoff spot in the section and needing to match the result of Washington to retain that spot. However, the Lady Prexies (7-7, 11-10) win over Burgettstown (8-6, 15-7) saw them take the fourth and final spot outright.

"I'm proud of the effort we had tonight," Shenango coach Jason Rankin said. "We knew that winning would get us in guaranteed and we played with a little more inspiration, we just couldn't get it done."

Ashley Norling scored 15 points to lead the way for the Lady Chargers (12-2, 17-5).
