Free throws prove costly to Neshannock

The Lancers’ free-throw shooting let them down in a 58-45 Section 3-2A loss at home.

Neshannock (2-3, 7-4) was just 8 of 19 from the free throw line, including 4 of 14 in the fourth quarter.

“This was pretty unchartered territory for us,” Lancers coach John Corey said. “We just couldn’t hit our free throws.”

Ean Oprean led Neshannock with 16 points and Dante DeLillo chipped in with 14 markers, including four 3-pointers. Ty Sear had 12 rebounds and Oprean added five assists and five steals.

OLSH is 4-1 and 8-3.
