The host Rams pitched a shutout in the second overtime to claim a nonsection win over the Wolverines.
South Side Beaver (7-7) hit a layup with five seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime. The Rams had a heave from half court at the end of the first overtime that was errant.
William Scott tossed in a game-high 16 points for Ellwood City (2-12) and Tanner Walsh was next with 13 markers and eight assists. Frederick Roth recorded 11 points for the visitors.
