Sharpsville girls top Wilmington
Sharpsville (40) Vs. Wilmington (18)
Feb 08, 2011
Wilmington struggled to get going offensively and it proved costly in a District 10, Region 2-AA loss to Sharpsville.

“The girls went in scared, thinking Sharpsville was better and was going to win,” Lady Greyhounds coach Brandy Sanford said. “When you go in with that mindset, that’s how you play.

“I told them at halftime and after the game that they’ve got to go in with confidence and play hard.”

Alanna Elliott netted 12 points for Wilmington (5-5, 11-9).

Jenna Grady tossed in 16 markers to lead the Blue Darlings (8-1, 16-3), who are in first place in the region.
