The Wilmington High boys basketball team stood its ground against Reynolds last night.

And then some.

The Greyhounds took seven "charges" on defense in a 44-34 District 10, Region 2-2A win on the road.

Tyler Kish was on the receiving end of three offensive fouls, Cameron Marett took three more and Tage Kelliher stood tall for the final one.

"They did a good job," Wilmington coach Mike Jeckavitch said. "They earned the calls they got."

Spencer DeMedal led the Greyhounds (9-3 region, 13-7 overall) with 12 points and seven rebounds. Robert Pontius had eight rebounds and Kish four steals for the winners.
