Our Lady of the Sacred Heart erased a three-point deficit after t hefirst quarter and forged a 23-15 halftime advantage en route to 58-20 a nonsection home win over Laurel
Caroline Gibson garnered seven markers for the Lady Spartans (2-3).
Bella Marra tossed in a game-high 11 points for the Lady Chargers (3-1).
"OLSH is a very good team," Laurel coach Jessica Shevitz said. "It wasour fifth road game in a row in nine days.
"We came out strong in the first quarter and we looked good. I'm just going to chalk it up to fatigue and move on. It's tough to start the season with five road games."
The Lady Spartans open their home schedule Monday night against Riverside in a Section 1-AA contest.
"We're excited to be playing at home," Shevitz said. "We'll look to regroup and move forward this week."
