Riverside defeats Mohawk
Riverside (69) Vs. Mohawk (51)
Dec 18, 2013
The Warriors struggled over the second and third quarters and it cost them in their Section 2-AA showdown with the host Panthers.

Mohawk (1-1, 3-2) managed just 16 points in the middle periods, while Riverside (1-1, 2-3) posted 35.

“I’m disappointed,” Mohawk coach Rob Fadden said. “I thought we’d go down there and compete and we didn’t. We went into the half down six, which isn’t a big deal. The way we played in the third quarter was very disappointing.”

Riverside connected on 30-of-38 attempts from the foul line, while Mohawk managed just 3 of 10 from the charity stripe.

Gio Menichino led the Warriors with nine points.
