Central Valley tops Mohawk
Central Valley (48) Vs. Mohawk (27)
Jan 17, 2013
The Mohawk offense was quieted in a nonsection road loss to Central Valley.

The Warriors (7-7) were limited to two points in the first quarter and never recovered.

“Central Valley was able to do pretty much anything they wanted to the entire game,” Mohawk coach Rob Fadden said.

Lucas Grim and Jonathan Grim led the scoring for Mohawk with nine points each.

Fadden took the opportunity to rest some starters, most notably Lawrence County Athlete of the Week Ryan Sager, for a key Section 2-AA matchup Friday at home against New Brighton.

“We were hoping to get some guys in, but with the score the other way,” Fadden said. “Everyone was able to get some time.”
