Sometimes wins are ugly, but Lady Lancers coach Luann Grybowski will take them any way she can.
“The game was really ugly early on,” she said of the home victory. “A lot of fouls were called. The teams shot 61 free-throws in the game. The second quarter alone we shot 18 free throws.”
Madison McHale notched 23 points for the Lady Lancers with 11 of 12 from the free-throw line. Since McHale’s return three games ago, the Lady Lancers (3-4) have won two of their last three contests.
Katie Burrelli had a team-high four steals and finished with nine points.
