New Castle kept its composure in a physical battle with Beaver and ended up dominating the Bobcats in Section 2-AAA action.
Beaver was called for two intentional fouls and played aggressive versus the Red Hurricane (2-0, 6-3), but the visitors weren’t intimidated and cruised to a win.
Shawn Anderson and Brandon Domenick scored 45 of the ’Canes’ points. Domenick netted 14 of his 19 in the first half, and Anderson went for 16 of his 26 in the final two quarters. New Castle led, 31-18, at the break and was up by 23 after three quarters.
Kevin Grant led Beaver (1-2, 3-5) with 23 points.
