Ellwood pulls away from Mohawk
Ellwood City (53) Vs. Mohawk (38)
Jan 05, 2011
Ellwood City broke a halftime tie and pulled away for a Section 2-AA victory over Mohawk.

“I was proud of the effort from my kids,” Warriors coach Kevin Wrona said. “We turned the ball over a few more times than we would have liked in the third quarter and that hurt us. Really, it was that one quarter that we allowed things to get away from us.”

Tim Glass registered 10 points with seven rebounds for Mohawk (0-2, 2-7), while Lucas Grim contributed eight markers and four steals.

Matt Morella recorded a game-best 11 points for the Wolverines (2-1, 5-4) and Ryan Horgan added 10.
