The struggles continue for Union.
Quigley Catholic outscored Union 19-6 in the third quarter en route to a nonsection win. The loss drops the Scotties to 0-9 overall. They open Section 1-A action at home Friday against Cornell.
Markel Peace and Tre Major recorded eight points each for Union.
Jay Fyda netted 21 points for the Spartans (3-6) to lead all scorers.
