Chelsea Kauffman poured in a game-high 28 points to lead Neshannock to a nonsection win over Rochester.

Kauffman added eight steals and five rebounds, while going 12 of 13 from the foul line.

“Kauffman did a great job for us,” Lady Lancers coach Luann Grybowski said. “She was great from the line.

“She drove and penetrated and that created so many free throws.”

Kauffman netted 14 of her points in the first quarter as Neshannock (4-0) built a 24-13 first-quarter lead.

“This was a nice win,” Grybowski said. “They’re a decent team with quick guards and we got out quick against them.”

Caitlin Binder recorded five steals, five rebounds and five assists for the winners, while Ericka Warvell snared eight rebounds.

Hayden Kimbrough notched 25 points for the Lady Rams (2-2).
