Turnovers cost the Lady Greyhounds in a District 10, Region 2-AA loss to Greenville.

Wilmington (5-4, 11-7) committed eight giveaways in the final frame, which helped to erase its seven-point lead.

“It was there for the taking and we didn’t take it,” Lady ’Hounds coach Brian Turk said.

Greenville (9-0, 17-2) scored a three-point play with two seconds left to earn the win.

Haley Marett tallied 14 points and Julie Burns grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Wilmington.
