Neshannock outscored Shenango 15-2 in the second quarter en route to a Section 2-AA road win.

“We played hard and hustled,” Lady Lancers coach Luann Grybowski said.

Ericka Warvell recorded a game-high 19 points with eight rebounds, four steals and three blocks for the Lady Lancers. She was 6 of 12 from the field including 6 of 8 from behind the arc.

“Ericka did a little bit of everything,” Grybowski said. “She had a presence inside, got some blocks, stepped in on penetration and rebounded well.”

Chelsea Kauffman contributed 12 markers and three steals, while Dominique Sheldone added 10 markers.

Angelene Rapone netted 14 points for the Lady Wildcats (1-8, 8-10).

“I thought our girls played hard,” Shenango coach Chris Vecenie said. “We had our chances, but I’d like us to be more consistent.”

Neshannock was 18 of 46 from the field, including 8 of 16 from behind the arc. The Lady Wildcats were 13 of 29.
