West Middlesex (62) Vs. Wilmington (53)
Jan 11, 2010
Turnovers and bad shooting cost the Greyhounds a victory over West Middlesex in nonregion action.
Wilmington (4-5) committed a season-high 17 miscues and made only 18 of 56 field goals.
“This past week, I felt, was the toughest week of our season,” ’Hounds coach Will Harris said. “It kind of prepares us for our region.”
Jake DeMedal scored a game-high 22 points for Wilmington, which jumped out to a 16-12 lead in the first quarter. However, the ’Hounds were outscored in each of the next three periods.
“We started the game off well,” Harris said. “The second quarter is what killed us.”
