The Lady Greyhounds overcame a tough shooting night to defeat Reynolds in a District 10, Region 2-AA contest.

Wilmington (3-1, 7-3) made only 21 percent of its shots, but Reynolds made just 19 percent.

“Thank goodness we got out of there unscathed,” said Lady ’Hounds coach Brian Turk, whose team ended a two-game losing streak.

Julie Burns recorded 15 points and 21 rebounds for Wilmington. Mackenzie Hiers contributed four markers and 10 rebounds, while Haley Marett added eight points and five assists.

Reynolds dropped to 1-3 in the region and 2-6 overall.
