New Castle used a 41-19 first half to cruise to an easy nonsection victory.
Shelby Rodgers led the Lady ’Canes (20-2) with 19 points and six rebounds. Jazelle Dennis followed with 12 points, nine assists and five rebounds. LaShauna Brothers chipped in with 11 points.
New Castle made 33 of 63 from the floor and owned a 36-19 rebounding advantage. The Lady ’Canes took advantage of 21 Canon-McMillan turnovers.
Anna Lombardo led the Lady Macs (1-21) with 15 points. Emily Hansen followed with 13.
