Hopewell shot 13 of 23 from 3-point land to help secure the Section 2-AAA win.

“We were trying to shut down the inside game,” Ellwood City Lincoln coach Bill Gottuso said. “The good news is we did but we got burned on the outside. They’re a quality team.”

Amando Trocci hit eight 3-pointers en route to a game-high 26 points for the Lady Vikings (4-2, 13-2).

Michelle Nocera led the Lady Wolverines (0-6, 5-12) with 11 points.
