Union outscored Beaver County Christian 15-2 in the third quarter to rally for a Section 1-A win.
The Lady Scots (4-3, 5-9) trailed 18-14 at the half after being outscored 14-0 in the second stanza.
“We had a down first half and we went through a drought in that second quarter,” Union coach Damian Cassano said. “We switched up our defense in the second half and we got a lot of easy buckets from the press.”
Savannah Partridge paced all scorers with 27 points for Union. She netted 11 of her points in the fourth quarter on 11-of-13 shooting from the foul line.
Noelle Hannon pulled down nine rebounds for the Lady Scots and Bridget Boyles recorded six steals.
Kristland McCracken posted 12 points for Beaver County Christian (2-5, 4-8).
