Center swished 11 of 13 from the foul line in the final four minutes of the game to swipe a Section 2-AAA contest.

“We actually had it down to six points,” Ellwood City Lincoln coach Bill Gottuso said. “We played well.

“You’re not always happy with a loss, but this is a part of a growing spurt for us.”

Michelle Nocera led the Lady Wolverines (0-3, 4-9) with a double-double effort. Nocera scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Beth Roitz followed with 11 points and Alexandra Capalbo had a team-high 15 rebounds.

Katarina Graziano and Olivia Thomas each scored 10 points to guide the Lady Trojans (1-2, 6-4)
