Laurel boys defeats OLSH
Laurel (73) Vs. OLSH (66)
Jan 05, 2009
Jake Dando scored a team-high 21 points and Chad Long followed with 20 points as the Spartans prevailed in nonsection action.

“It’s a big win for us,” Laurel coach Mike Tinstman said. “We’re still battling here and we’ve struggled the last three or four games, so this was a nice win to turn things around.”

Kyle Richeal came off the bench to lead the Spartans (4-6) in rebounds with 13 to go with his nine points.

“It was really a great team effort,” Tinstman said. “Guys came off the bench and really contributed, so it was a great effort all around.”

James Orie led Our Lady of the Sacred Heart with a game-best 37 points.
