Wilmington blanked Union 20-0 in the second quarter to pull away for a win in the consolation of the Union Booster Tournament.
“Our second quarter was our big letdown,” Lady Scots coach Damian Cassano said. “We need to work harder on defense.”
Julie Burns registered 12 points to lead the Lady Greyhounds and Stephanie Kish contributed 11.
Leah Day pulled down a game-best eight rebounds for the winners.
“We shot better tonight and the intensity was there,” Wilmington coach Brian Turk said.
The Lady Greyhound’s Haley Marett made the all-tournament team
Ashley Sankey tallied nine points to lead the Lady Scots (3-7).
