Ellwood City Lincoln missed 20 foul shots but held off Shenango for a win in the Riverside Shootout.
Katie Roitz recorded 17 points and four assists for the Lady Wolverines (3-6), while Michelle Nocera chipped in with 15 markers and 12 rebounds.
Alexandra Capalbo contributed 13 markers and a game-high 13 rebounds for the winners.
“I thought it was a well-played game,” Ellwood City coach Bill Gottuso said. “It was an evenly matched contest.
“Capalbo and Michelle Nocera came through with big nights for us.”
Angelene Rapone led all scorers with 20 points for the Lady Wildcats (4-6) and Jessica Kusnierz added 16.
The Lady Wolverines will battle Trinity at 7:15 p.m. today for the title.
