Moniteau routs Union girls
Moniteau (71) Vs. Union (40)
Dec 29, 2008
Savannah Partridge scored 20 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Scots lost in the first round of their own tournament.
“At the half we were right where we needed to be,” said Union coach Damian Cassano, noting Moniteau’s 29-22 lead at the half. “The second half they got under our skin and played physical. We had lots of turnovers and mistakes that could have been corrected.
“We took this one on the chin but we’ve got to put it behind us.”
Kaylin Clingensmith had six assists and five steals and Bridget Boyles added seven rebounds for the Lady Scots (3-6).
Union will play Wilmington at 3 p.m. today in the consolation game.
