Rochester outscored Mohawk 15-7 in the fourth quarter to pull away and knock off the Lady Warriors in the second round of the Penn State-Beaver Christmas Tournament.

Mohawk (7-3) will tangle with Geibel at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the third-place game.

“It was like a heavyweight fight back and forth until the fourth quarter,” Mohawk coach Mike O’Lare said. “They threw the last punch in the fourth quarter and we couldn’t come back.”

Alyssa Natale registered a game-best 17 points for the Lady Warriors and Brooke Shasteen contributed 10.

Samantha Robson paced the Lady Rams (7-2) with 15 markers.
