Mohawk outscored Western Beaver 22-9 in the second quarter to pull away for a win in the first round of the Penn State-Beaver Christmas Tournament.

Matt Lorello led all scorers for the Warriors (8-0) with 16 points. Michael Henry and Dan Mioni added eight points each.

Brandon Barnes netted nine points for the Golden Beavers (0-8).

Mohawk will meet Rochester at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for the championship.
