Miscues spelled doom for Shenango in a Section 2-AA loss to Rochester.
The Wildcats committed 27 turnovers and shot just 11 of 41 from the floor.
“I thought we came out flat,” Shenango coach Bob McQuiston said. “Rochester is a good team, but we didn’t shoot very well.”
Mike Murcko paced the Wildcats (2-1, 4-4) with 15 points and Rich Gaston contributed 12 markers and 17 rebounds.
Trey Johnson, E.J. Blackwell and Jason Adamson all tallied 15 points to lead the Rams (1-3, 2-4).
