The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 16-9 lead after the first quarter and went on to earn a Section 2-AA win.
“Both teams played really hard,” Laurel coach Jen McGarrah said. “We had a bad first half that we couldn’t overcome.”
Chelsea Brown scored 18 and Alyssa Natale followed with 12 to guide Mohawk (2-1, 6-2).
Becca Kerr led the Lady Spartans (0-4, 0-7) with 14 points and Nicolette McCormick tossed in 12.
