Jessica Kusnierz hit 8 of 10 from the foul line in the fourth quarter for the Lady Wildcats.

“She was very strong and iced the game for us,” Shenango coach Chris Vecenie said. “She definitely took care of business.”

Kusnierz, who made 11 of 14 from the stripe in the game, scored 16 for Shenango. Miranda Black led the Lady Wildcats with 18.

“It was a tough game the whole way,” Union coach Damian Cassano said. “They pulled away in the end and made foul shots. Our girls really battled.”

Shenango (4-3) made 18 of 30 from the line, while the Lady Scots (2-4) netted 14 of 26.

Savannah Partridge paced Union with 18 points. Kaylin Clingensmith had 10 points, eight steals and five assists.
